An Erasmus+ project empowering young Roma through soft-skills development, building self-confidence and support for employment and active participation in the labour market — in cooperation with the URBO organization from Požarevac.
THRIVE is carried out under the Erasmus+ programme and is focused on empowering young Roma through the development of professional skills, building self-confidence and support with employment and active inclusion in the labour market. Created in cooperation with the URBO organization from Požarevac, it is an important initiative aimed at social inclusion, non-formal education and developing the potential of young people from marginalized communities.
Through practical methods, group activities, creative tasks and experiential learning, participants develop skills that are key for professional growth and social inclusion: communication, teamwork, emotional intelligence, public speaking and professional preparation for the labour market. The workshops encourage open communication, mutual support and the creation of a safe space in which young people can freely express their ideas, experiences and ambitions.
We believe that developing soft skills is just as important as formal education, because communication, empathy, creative thinking, adaptability and teamwork are the foundation of healthy communities and sustainable professional development. Through THRIVE we aim to give young people not only knowledge, but motivation, support and a sense of belonging to a community that believes in their potential.
